I dunno, I thought it was fresh and new, still lacked many things, but it would have been a good start had they wanted to continue with it :/

It had its moments, and the ending promised some pretty interesting developments, but the sequel would have needed a lot of work. It could happen, since SoT suffered in several ways, some of them similar (except in that case it was the combat that felt like a QTE rather than the platforming). But it felt like a pretty large step down in a bunch of ways. The design and character interaction was alright. But having your feet cemented to the ground just feels horribly wrong. Maybe I just have a desire to watch the protagonist get fed into a woodchipper. That could be it.
