who wants a ps3 emulator?
Benjamin Ian Allen
theres no such thing lmao.... there probs wont be untill 2020
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
fine, i wont make one then
Benjamin Ian Allen
dude they have only just finsihed fully developing PS2 if you can create a fully working highly compatable PS3 emulator that can run on bog standard hardware then go for it but i doubt it
Benjamin Heeter
Your ambition is admirable!
Peter Allegro
people don't understand what emulation is... lol
KKonetixk Wildwolf
i do
Donkor Kayode Cooper
lol
Hexi Hamaski
if you can find a processor that can emulate the cell inside a ps3 then go for it, but remember the average idiot needs to be able to afford this processor and the pc that can back it
Hexi Hamaski
just a reminder on the Cells specs "6 core 2.6 ghz speciallized logic and graphical processing unit"
Heri Andoni
nah great ambition..nice one dude !
Haruto Tsubaki
great.. another dreamer..
Irwan Awang
i want ps3 for free then ahaha
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
i got a couple words to say: AMD 8-Core Processor, Code Named Bulldozer
Benjamin Ian Allen
thats all very nice you having that, but as i said realistically its not possible to create an EMULATOR for general use, fine you may be able to run the games on your computer, but for people who have a life to spend outside of our copmuiter...See more
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
i dont have it, all i wanna say is that me (and a couple of other programmers and engineers) will have it made before mid-decade
KKonetixk Wildwolf
koooo hit me up yo ill be gladly to have it in dat case ill add you
Benjamin Ian Allen
well if you havent even got the hardware yet how are you planning on doing this? its all well and good on paper but you have to remember they are still trying to perfect the ps2 emulator
KKonetixk Wildwolf
whats so hard bot the ps2 emulator its not that advance
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
well, what i'm saying is that why not take a step further into the future. instead of waiting for a 7 to 8 year long project to be completed (after the product was discontinued). why not take that step into the present
Benjamin Ian Allen
if your saying its not that advanced you are sadly mistaken, do you know how much coding it requires just to get thie bios running? also may i refer you to this
http://pcsx2.net/about.php
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
i may have come on too strong, when i said that i would have been making it. of course i'll be working with a team.
Benjamin Ian Allen
david they started work on ps2 emulators as soon as they perfected the ps1 emulators as i said check that link out
Benjamin Ian Allen
it will explain why it takes so much time and effort to get an emulator running at playable speeds
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
and i'm saying, why wait on them to finish
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
i know the documentation, i read it and re-read it
Benjamin Ian Allen
all im saying is if you think you can do it go for it, but once your in your stuck with it for life
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
benjamin, this isnt a bad thing. i know the performance of a machine will have to be pretty high spec, and the cost of said machine will not be pretty. but my perception tells me that by 2015 a number of us (if not all) will be pretty grown up, with whatever jobs have you, will more than likely own a custom workstation or high-spec laptop capable of running proposed emulator.
KKonetixk Wildwolf
true even tho im new to all this and just into it in middle school my 8th grade year
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
i've set out to do something like this for a long while now. i have learned what i needed to learn (i'm still in the learning process), and i have met some exceptional people fully capable of decoding and adapting the bios to the Windows/Mac programming foundations. and developing the necessary plugins required its optimal operation
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
i know it to be a sure thing
David MattaBeast Ramgobin
and it will be time consuming, and take up a significant, if not major, part of my life. and i am prepared to put down the time for it.
