That's pretty much what I would do, as well. If I had an extra couple hundred lying around, I might try my luck at the blackjack table... but honestly, I don't have a head for most casino games.

... there's another thing I've never done. Never been to a casino. Just, not overly interested.

Also, I was under the impression that the first Uncharted was lolcheap when playing on Crushing. It's not actually that bad, you just have to rework your approach to fights and spend less time behind cover, and more time almost completely hidden behind cover and shooting at one-quarter of your screen when enemies walk past.

Yeah, gambling isn't really worth it, especially if you're trying to win money. You have to go into with the mindset of it being just for fun and have a set limit to spend. And you have to have lots of cash to waste. I have to admit though, the thrill you get from winning is addictive. I can understand why so many people develop gambling problems.

My girlfriend likes to play bingo, sometimes she drags me to the casino and play for a bit ($15 can last you about more than an hour), sometimes we win our cash back and even make another five bucks. We have fun and it's okay, but you wouldn't believe the amount of women (specially old) who just stay the hell in there and often tell you their tragedies of how they used groceries money to keep on gambling.

We just laugh it off and walk out with our $5 winnings.

Now bingo is actually a pretty good game to play. It's usually pretty cheap and you can get some free drinks and play for awhile. It's crazy how many old ladies play though. And slot machines too, old people love slot machines. Last time I was at a casino I saw this old women playing slots who won a triple jackpot/jackpot/double jackpot on a max bet. God knows how much money she'd spent before hand, but she literally turned a $5 bet into a few grand, so gambling can pay off. The odds are definitely not in your favor though.

She must have only spent like $3.

I think the slot machine appeal has a lot to do with the automation of it. People like being able to have a chance of winning some money by themselves without having to really think about it too much. Just how much you want to bet and press/pull. That's awesome! They tax the hell out of any winnings over like three grand over here I think, but still, it's better than nothing. But yeah, you have to careful in Vegas. One of the guys I went with was talking about one time he went with his friends and one of them was really drunk and started getting all crazy at one of the tables and the pit boss/security took him into a backroom for like an hour and beat the shit out of him and threw him out on the streets.

Unless you know Kevin Spacey and Morpheus, that is.

But really, from what I remember of my Hard play through, the U-Boat dock is the only "difficult" part left.
