Not this trip, no. The real purpose of the trip is to visit an old friend. Disneyland just happens to be one of the many things that we plan on doing while I'm down there. I want to try and make visiting her a yearly thing, and I do plan on taking Dallas down there when he's a little bit older. Like, seven, maybe. This trip is always a "fact-finding" mission, so I can get a general idea of how old I think he should be before I bring him down.
That's kind of my reasoning as well. I want him to be old enough to be able to remember it, but young enough that it's still exciting. I went to Disney World when I was... eleven, I think, and I was just a bit too old for it. I figure if I take him down there when he's six or seven, he'll still be excited to see all of his favourite characters and whatnot, which also makes the experience more enjoyable for me.
Rollercoasters aren't really my thing, though, so he can go on them with my friend and I'll sit on the nice sturdy ground and watch them from afar.![]()
Roller coasters awesome though! Nah, I understand. G-force and upside down loops aren't for everyone.Funnily enough, last time my brother and I went to Disneyland we went on the Matterhorn and my brothers safety bar didn't lock in right, and he was literally being pulled up out of his seat during the ride. I grabbed onto his arm and tried to hold him down. Luckily he didn't die.
Come to think about it, we should have told someone and sued the shit out of them. Lol.
