    Whoa I've never seen a PS1 with a different BIOS, all the modchipped ones I've seen just load like normal but have the ability to boot copies.

    Swap tricks are horrendous. Modchip or softmod all the way.

    The Bios is a bit unstable it seems (Crashes sometimes) but works if i give it a few tries, close enough for me

    FMCB and modchipped PS1 does it for me.

    Would be cool to have a chipped PS2, but really not necessary. FMCB + ESR is fine, add a network adapter + IDE HDD if you hate burning discs.

    So ya I've got a smug grin on my face especially since i been hurting for a legit PSX/PS2 controller for a while now... hell i would have paid a fiver for the controller but i think i got a huge bargain in total

    That BIOS looks like one of those really cheap cheat carts you ram into the back of the console to play copies with. (On a fat console) They also require a swap trick. Terrible.
