After 4 X-Men/Wolvie movies, they've managed to give the mutants franchise a fresh and interesting re-start, really meritorious. The cast is good and so is the acting. Fassbender, chapeau.
I'm still leery, I'm such a huge fan of the comics as you well know and have enjoyed the movies so far even though it's not really "cannon" I do still end up seeing them, gonna go next Tuesday to see first class. I've seen all so far on the big screen (all marvel that is) and have to continue that tradition. Wolverine was awful and turned me off a bit, but yeah don't wanna talk about X-men for 20 pages

I went back to watch I Am Legend again last night.

It's not the best movie in the world, but I think the movies good, and I love the story. I've read the original book at least 3 or 4 times. Will Smith did a very good job acting in the movie as well, but the best part of the movie has to be some of the visuals. The transformation of Manhatten into a place overrun with vegetation and animals is beautiful. I'd recommend it, but I doubt many people have the same tastes as I do.

Go watch it Zally, you'll like it. I had no faith in it and didn't really pay any attention to the project but the final result is really really good, top 5 super heroes movies for me.

I've tried to stay away from "learning about this movie" as it were so I'm trying to go for the funness of it all when I first see it and not get my hopes up etc... you know what I'm saying?

It's all about the team and I know what it is - and having those particular mutants is pretty cool in a way as the strike team. But fuck man. BUTT FUCK MAN THERE'S A SUPERHERO. Umm m yeah losing my train of thought. Having Havok and Emma and Banshee when we saw the first glimmer of Syrin in X2 and (as being a mutant I would most love to see) I can't wait to see him fly along with that scream gong. But yeah I'm stoked, Can't wait to see it. I know people bitch about shit like that and I do too but I still love seeing it onscreen. Enough I'm loaded post done.

I saw Despicable Me last night.

It's a good movie, but I just can't get over those little annoying yellow minion things. I know most people would find them cute and funny, but for some reason they annoy the heck out of me. If anyone else saw the movie, am I alone in this?

Saw Green Lantern last night, it was okay as long as you can deal with CGI everything.

The majority of my friends thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, so I had high hopes for it when I watched it. It was... okay. Nothing really exceptional. The plot is pretty generic; it doesn't really offer too much in terms of excitement or surprise. The animation was pretty cool, but nothing outstanding. And yeah, the minions were annoying. They were cute for all of three minutes before the gags ran pretty thin.

I still don't see what all of the hype is about.
