So, my sister bought a PS3 during the PSN downtime. I gave her my PSN account details so she can log in and grab the various things I've gotten from the store, including the two games I've got on that account from the Welcome Back package.

Just now I recovered the information from one of the other accounts I made when I first got my console, and sent it her way so she can grab another two games.

What, we're only supposed to choose two games, Sony? Oops.

Their plans, much like their security, appears to be flawed.

And then play something with me.

Although I've loaned out my headset temporarily, and now I'm back to relying on the onscreen keyboard.

We should. I picked up inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet, to play with my California friend. Because quick decisions are quick.

Also, I have no idea where my headset is.

I want to try making a ROM hack, but I don't have the patience. Or how to even get started.
I've been working on various Earthbound romhacks for a while now. Mostly just a lot of custom monster sprites and such. I just haven't been able to get together enough cohesive ideas to create a full game. I started thinking, why not make a game spoofing Fallout and other post-apocalyptic games? I've played all of the Fallout games and have a good handle of the Fallout universe. I could come up with a lot of ideas. I already have some graphics and a small outline/checklist done right now. Need more sprites and a decent tileset.

I use a suite of editors specifically created for editing Earthbound. It's called PKhack. I've been meaning to make a post on my blog about all of the EB-related stuff I've already done and have planned. I have also been compiling a PKhack manual, since there is no documentation that comes with it.

Sounds really cool. You definitely should make a blog detailing what you've done -- could be rather interesting.

Cookie Monster doesn't need a job. He's the fucking Cookie Monster.

Also, it seems like I didn't miss anything by not watching Sony's press conference.

Huh, seems like I always come along when EP is dead. Silly timezones! Time to be off, then.

Maybe I'll heat up some coffee, post a quick blog post, and start up PKHack.

I need to start working on this while I have the motivation.

Well, consider it's almost midnight, and I'm watching one more episode of Six Feet Under before I go to bed... yeah, terrible timing.

I used to be very big in the scene, but I fell out of it a long time ago. Difficulty in hacking a game depends on the console it was for and how insane the developers were. (As well as how complex you want your hack to be.)
