Hey, an excuse to test this camera to see if I fixed it...
Puppies! And construction. In replacing the siding for our house, it was also decided that all the windows should be ripped out and replaced. Hilarity, obviously, ensued, and long story short, I now have a bedsheet for a curtain and dried insulation foam stuck to the wall, my desk, and my right hand.
When the warning notes on the can include to use gloves and not let it come into contact with skin, they aren't joking. I'm also pretty sure the wallpaper's almost as old as I am. I'm just really, really stubborn about being evicted from my room for however long it would take to get it all stripped and repainted. At the least, I don't really care about the colour of the walls either way. It's not like the wallpaper is yellow, after all.
