I woke up at 7AM. After sleeping, on and off, for the past 18 hours.

I went to bed at 6 or 7am or something, woke up at 3pm.

Hate this sleeping pattern, as stated on Facebook and as liked by Drageuth.

That's usually what ends up happening to me, too.

"Fuck it, if I can't get to sleep then I'll just stay up all night, go to sleep earlyish tomorrow evening, and it'll correct itself!"

"Wow, I'm pretty tired now. I wonder how much longer I can stay awake."
    /7AM comes around
"Maybe I'll just... lay in bed and read a book."
    /7:01AM comes around

It's amazing how quickly you fall asleep when you eventually do go to bed. That's what happens when I go to bed at a normal time, takes me forever to fall asleep.

Same. 'cept I have this twisted reasoning that if I go to bed, I have to be able to do something for thirty minutes before I can actually fall asleep. Read a book, watch a show, etc. So if I don't have anything to read/watch, according to my twisted logic, there's no point going to bed. Because I won't be able to sleep. And my doesn't this infomercial at 2AM look interesting?

Same. Until they start to contribute to the problem.

"Hmm. That was a good episode. Maybe just one more."
... "Wow! I need to know what happens next!"
... "Well, there's only two more episodes left in this season. Might as well finish it."
... "Oh, look at that. I have to be at work in an hour."

When I had a job I never let myself stay up past 5am, at least by being asleep by 5am meant I'd be awake by 3pm and would've had my required 8 hours.

Now I can just do what I like again... I don't like it.
