I do plan to platinum the following games: Resident Evil 5 (again. ), Modern Warfare 2 (again. ), Borderlands (Pretty close to having the already. Just lazy right now.)

I want to buy a new game, but I don't have any money right now. Hence why I'm attempting to platinum Darksiders. That, and the requirements for it aren't that difficult, so I figured, "why not?"

Right now my horse is running around in a giant circle, trying to stock up 150 miles on horseback. I think I'm gonna go make a sandwich while he does that.

Those kinds of trophies are great, but also hellishly annoying. It's great if you just want to rack up the required amount without doing anything, but it's incredibly boring and mind numbing if it's all you need to do for the platinum.

I took Cookie's advice, grabbed an elastic band, and wrapped it around my controller. I'm thinking I'm gonna grab some lunch, walk up to the library and back, and by the time I get home it should (hopefully) be finished.
Then I just have to kill some people with weapons from the environment, then load up an old save file and kill 160 demons while flying the angelic beast, and I'm good.

I'd like to have the on Darksiders eventually, but Apocalyptic difficulty puts me off. Is it easy?

I played through the game on Normal the first time, because I never like starting a game on the hardest difficulty. Then, when I decided that I wanted to play through it again and attempt to platinum it (because lolsobored), I beat through the majority of the game on Apocalyptic in one sitting. Granted, it was a 14 hour sitting (about 10 hours of game play), but that got me past the four main "dungeons," and all I had left to do the next day was collect the Armageddon Blade pieces and fight the final boss.

    So... yeah. Not especially difficult.

Should I just play through it on Apocalyptic when I start it then?

That's what I usually do with games now, play through on hard then mop up what I missed later on.

That's what I would recommend; Apocalyptic isn't especially difficult. If you want to platinum it, there is really only one trophy that will be difficult to do on Apocalyptic. Everything else is pretty straight forward.
