All that hassle for GTA IV...

I'm guessing you won't even get past the first few missions this time around... Only because starting it again so many times must be a killer.

Starting over will suck a bit, but I know what to do to progress through it quickly, until I get back to where I left off.

I also backed up my Mass Effect and Portal 2 saves before I formatted.

So worth it. I keep trying not to stay up until 4 AM playing Aurora, and Paradox games are love. Flexibility with modding is worth almost any price.
Then again, not everyone enjoys games that look like this, this, or this. It's an acquired taste.
    ...
And yes, I did name my Luxury Liner class the Lusitania, and their engine types the Exxon Valdez. My humour's an acquired taste, too.

I care not for your anime nor your PC games.

I will have to agree with it. I have learned to love text based adventures quite easily, but yours seems a little confusing.

Solution is I'll continue to play my consoles games that aren't anime related.

If you want to give it a shot, it's available for free here. It's an alpha version with more than a few bugs, and the learning curve is a bit of a brick wall, but it's fun. A lot of the information should be picked up here and there through experience, forums, and the wiki, though; things like how lasers need a power plant to draw power, your weapons and the fire control sensors for them should have a similar range so you aren't wasting capacity, planning ahead to make sure that your ships can carry a jump drive without overloading that drive's mass capacity, and that shooting half a dozen 242 ton mineral packets at 1000 kilometres per second from Uranus to Earth using a mass driver is a Bad Idea™ if you don't have a second mass driver on Earth to catch the silly things before they "land."
