I've actually been meaning to watch Ghost in the Shell. I take it it's good?

The initial "attempt" that I heard about, back in '03, fell through. Quickly, I think.
I haven't heard that the latest one has been canceled yet, but I haven't heard anything else beyond -- what I hope -- are some serious jokes about who is playing Spike. Because if they aren't, then I'm going to kill myself.

I greatly enjoyed it. S2 can be hit or miss with a lot of people. And the plots can take a while to get going. And the largely pointless philosophical rambling is pretty annoying. But all in all it's a great watch. Highly recommendable, and probably one of the better anime I've sat through.

It's not. There's some images floating around out there. I find it incredibly hilarious, which is why I asked if it was progressing.

Oh, not being white trash is easy. All you have to do is stop drinking the cheap beer, move out of the trailer park, and stop watching people make left turns all day.

Losing the longhorn belt buckle would probably help, too.

It's always been one of those series that I've been interested in, but I've known nothing about it. I know my buddy's dad really enjoyed it, and he usually has great taste in shows, so I was going to watch it based solely on that recommendation. But I never really knew what it was about, so I kind of kept putting it off.

Might have to remedy this.


And I think I'm going to go slit my wrists, now. As much as I would love to see a Cowboy Bebop movie (and from what I heard, the original writers/directors/whatever were involved with the project), I pretty much already know it's going to be a trainwreck if Reeves is starring. Sure, he looks like Spike (at least, more so than any other actor I can think of at the moment), but that doesn't mean he's capable of pulling off Spike's personality in the slightest.

CB was the first anime that I ever actually watched, start to finish (outside of Pokemon and other kids crap). I loved it oh so much. It took me forever to find a picture of Spike that I wanted to use. I actually deliberately went looking for one with him smoking. Finally had to use some fan art from DeviantArt. But I lurves it. LURVES IT.
