Not like Duke Nukem' Forever and Prey.
Played the first level of the Duke Nukem Forever demo for the 360. It was pretty good, much like I would expect of Duke. I'm just glad they didn't try to "break the mold" and fail. They know want true Duke fans want and they made it. Can't wait until the full version comes out.
I know Gearbox won't disappoint, they made one of the best co-op FPS I have ever played and I went 'YES' when I heard the development was in their hands.Played the first level of the Duke Nukem Forever demo for the 360. I can hit 2 KFCs within a half hour of walking. I know where there's about 3 more without even checking into it.
As for Subway, I can think of 2-3 off hand (not especially sure about one of them). Mr. Sub strangely seems to be more common than Quiznos (2 to 1). I can only recall seeing about 2 starbucks in town, but part of that is likely the fact we're saturated with Tim's (I passed 3 in a short on-foot excursion to pick up some bread. I don't even live in an especially populated part of town)
I only seem to recall seeing 2 A&W's, and they're strangely within viewing distance of one another. There's a burger king around here somewhere, but I've never seen it. It's probably on some god forsaken back road somewhere.
They should after the amount of dental work I've been in dire need of over the years.
Wait, that was a serious question?
I mean, there were no smilies, but still.
No, of course it doesn't have a subscription. You buy the game and have access to everything. Sure, you'll need to register a battle.net account to play online, but that's for free, naturally.
We don't have a Mr. Sub here. But I ate at one in Edmonton and wasn't that impressed with it anyways, so meh.
I forgot about Tim's. We have... 7, I think. 6 for sure, and I'm pretty sure there's one somewhere downtown that I'm forgetting. And I hear they're going to be building one right across the road from me.![]()
They are a surprisingly underappreciated developer.
Considering the amount of shit they've done over the years.
Also, as I understand it they didn't have that much involvement with DNF. It's more like they finished up the last chunk of the game after the previous team fell through.
Working on something for 10 years doesn't mean they actually worked on it for 10 years.
If that were the case, DAO would be fuckhuge.
If I see a "Universe of Starcraft" announcement, I may weep like a small child.
The demo's out? Did the PS3 get gypped again? Because the last e-mail I received stated that it was coming in early june.
Anyways. Just finished my book. I'm gonna go to bed now.![]()
