Set the difficulty to hardest.

Fly to the top left of the screen, mash the shoot button. For the tank boss go around in a small circle, then evade as best you can on the top down shooting part (you'll have plenty of lives so it's fine anyway.)

I should write a guide for this shit to utilise the quickest/fastest ways I've found.
That was actually the second one I did, but I did it on easy, got it second try.
