I do not enjoy being harsh and it's not my intention, but some of those threads are really silly.
You can't really start a thread titled "a game series that either lost it's edge or hasn't lost it" cos basically you are asking people to post any game, any game would fit into one of those two categories, which makes reading the list of games posted a waste of time.
If we really wanted to create pointless threads, we'd make a sticky titled "Name any game thread (and state why you did it or not)"

I read most of those posts by that Pokemon guy... and most of the advice is just obvious or plain stupid. I use to a Pokemon fanatic around D/P/Pl, and had the mechanics of the game down to a science. Pokemon encounter rates on specific routes, IVs, EVs, PID, nature combinations, making optimal teams, etc. All his posts were just retarded, like "SOME ELEMNTS ARE WEAK AGIANST SUM, BT STONG ON OTHORS!!!1!'
