Gah, I just want to kill Hugo, why do I have to go through eight million floors of tedious nonsense to find him?

Not much of a spoiler. If you can't figure out he's gonna be a bad guy, you haven't played too many JRPGs.

Because in JRPGs, the Church is always evil.

You're still doing the dungeon, I suppose? I flew through that with Vanish and running away from battles just to get rid of the enemy sprite from the map. But that dungeon was where I really started hating the battle system.

I was thinking of moving to a 120Hz LCD. The one I have my eye on runs at 1680x1050, which would be good as that would match my current secondary monitor

The games where the church isn't are a little... risque . I've played a few where the church was actually good, I can't remember which games though.

I'm off to go fiddle with ePSXe using my TV as the monitor.

I thought it was hilarious how Hugo is just floating there and waits for you to repair the sword that can kill him.

Look on the bright side, though, it's actually a pretty decent weapon for Stocke, stats-wise.

I don't mind particularly, but I've been on a killing spree for the past hour, I kind of assumed I was actually going to be able to fight him.

Silly me. More time for me to run around enemies and miss crucial experience points!
