I hope I can find some decent retro games shops in Cali, I fancy stocking up on SNES cartridges at ridiculously cheap American prices. Even though I'm probably still going to sell the SNES eventually.

I'm envious of how easily some people can get retro games in the wild. There is NOWHERE in Newcastle to get retro games that I'm aware of.

    eBay prices aren't so good.

There's just the one shop where I live for retro stuff, and they don't even have all that much honestly, it's primarily a preowned CD and DVD shop. There was this one guy with a really good market stall a few years ago though. He used to give me decent prices because I bought fair bit of stuff from him, but I think I may have been the only regular customer he had because he called it quits a couple of months after I took a break from collecting.

Yeah there was a great shop here for retro games, but I never had any money to buy what I wanted and it's gone now. The windows were just full of loose SNES, N64, NES, Megadrive carts etc. Was amazing! But the shop was in the middle of nowhere and no one knew about it. Gone now.

AMIGA 600 + tons of copied games = tons of fun.

No one had original AMIGA games, weirdos.

eBay's pretty much killed off all those shops sadly, they either can't compete because of overheads or they price gouge the living hell out of everything. Sucks.

Ohmigod I just saw an Animal Humane Society commerical with a ton of little kittens talking with adorable voices.

I need to go adopt a million of them before I cry.
