DT2 is less good than DT, but most people are shocked to find out there was a sequel. Therefore, it's highly likely people have not seen or heard of this game. Those poor people.
You were perhaps a lesser gamer as a kid. Then again, I have yet to ever re-complete Renegade in my adulthood the few times I've tried. And I've gotten substantially worse at Battletoads after going through puberty. So clearly I've gotten worse.It was still lots of fun, just... not as fun as the first game.
Battletoads is one of those games where you basically have to play it repeatedly, for months on end, memorizing every single aspect of it. It's less "skill" and more "blind dumb luck."
And I never owned Bucky O'Hare when I was a kid, I just rented it from time to time. Never got around to finishing it. Then again, I most definitely was a worse gamer back then.
