I agree. Not to mention that only one of two announced DLC packs has been released thus far, and (if I'm not mistaken) it's 10 bucks. For one extra chapter of gameplay.

The main game has twelve chapters of varying length -- from one to six+ levels. Even if you bought it brand new on release day for 60 bucks, that's five dollars a chapter.

Speaking of, I'm currently downloading The Signal, and The Writer DLCs for Alan Wake. Maybe I'll actually get to finish the story after all.

DLC isnt that bad, its just a case of, what SHOULD be DLC and what shouldn't.
New players, argh.
New levels, yeah sure.
New/adding to a story, no.

DLC should be free aswell.
