Default What would be the worst Suprise to find when openin Game related Purchases packaging?

The other day(kind of a while back). I went to the store and bought a copy of our best Local gaming magazine. Namely NAG. When I got home and started opening the packaging I noticed something strange and confusing! There was sand in the bottom. Only one thought crossed my mind at that moment... Wth?

I read on and noticed the Magazine featured Prince of Persia: The forgotten sands(Remember this is a while back). So they put sand in it. Genius? I dont know but while it may be kind of clever in a way, it's still pretty idiotic if I do say so myself. Idiotic because in some cases the sand damaged the DVD that came with the Mag.

This got me thinking. If that was such a horribly funny thing to find. What would people say was the absolute worst thing they can think of finding when opening something they just bought.

Maybe... Nothing... Maybe... I dont know.. Any ideas people?

When DiRT3 comes out, smear shit and mud all over the magazine. Totally clever, amirite?

Only semi-related, but didn't the publishers send off brass knuckles with the review copy of some game? I don't recall which it was, but it was one of those crime-centric games. Seems to me that would be pretty up there in terms of bad surprises. Especially if you bought it online and had to pay for shipping.

That would be something I'd tell my grandchildren about.

The worst possible surprise I can think of is not really... realistic.. It's either between receiving a barbie's greatest hits CD oooorr receiving a swift Kick in the Nuts. Either probably being equally bad.
Worst Realistic things would probably be between... An I-O-U card from the publisher. Claiming they couldn't afford to give me anything with the issue. Not even a DVD that usually comes as standard.. [Tears], Scented candles, Sticks and stones because hey they already used sand.. I'm gonna stop myself right there.

The weirdest thing I got came in MGS4. This game was brand spankin' new, back in like 2007, when I got my very first PS3. I took off the film (or whatever its called), opened up the case and there was lined paper, like the paper in a notebook, folded up in front of the manual. I thought, what the hell is this? I opened it and there was a crap ton of info from the MGS universe. Stuff about characters, the storyline, the whole 9. There was even a FULL walkthrough of the entire game. Needless to say, I was a happy camper that day.

I think the worst thing that could ever happen in my eyes would be when I used to buy Nintendo carts @ the local stores. I can't imagine spending all of my hard earned cash to buy an awesome new game like Kirby's Adventure and then bringing it home, tearing it open, and crying for days because inside the box was a shiny new copy of Back to the Future. lols.
I'm listening but I don't hear very much...

I bought a copy of Legend of Heroes for PSP (i had played it before, but wanted it again), got home, opened it up, and inside was the sequel, which is TERRIBLE.
Ended up selling it back to them for more than i paid for it

My mom actually bought me a game as a present once. I dont know where.. but I'm guessing in a store. No maybe on the street. This might sound strange about me guessing but you do not have the complete story yet. It was Need 4 Speed Underground 2 for my PS2. She gave it to me and it was awesome. Until I started opening it that is. I noticed it didn't have any plastic wrapping over it. When I opened it there was nothing. She bought a Game without making sure there was an actual copy of the game in the box. You need talent to not notice that. Never got the money back because the place where it was bought in the first place was so far away. It would be more economical if we just left it as it was. Bastards...

    Worst surprise you could get...

You buy a game online and when you open the package, you get a CP video instead of a game... or you get the wrong package, open it in front of your friends/family just to realize it's full of adult toys and gay prOn...

Don' worry, it won't hurt... that much!
