Why...? I don't recall anything in the game where you'd need that much. If you buy max armor, sandals, and bombs every time you pass a store, and get both all four judo abilities in every level, you'd still have money left. I guess you're going to play Whack-A-Mole or the horse races for 20 minutes?

If you have the money to commission that house a portable generator wouldn't cost too much more to have one.

It'd take a lot more power than a portable generator makes to open and close a concrete slab that large, even if it's mostly hollow. If they've got it set to be runnable off a single generator, it'd probably take up a few hundred cubic feet.

Also, what's a good option for recording myself playing RE:CV if I don't like how it turns out on an emu?
I'd prefer it had sound while I recorded, but I could always record audio from a seperate location and splice it into the video I guess.

Get a capture card, or a TV tuner with the correct input for whatever type of output the console has, or use a DVR that'll let you transfer either to a disc or computer.
