You're one of those guys that need that daily dose of coffee, eh?
I never used to. When I went out to Kamloops for the first part of my schooling, I got in the habit of grabbing a coffee with the guys before class every day. Then, when I got back home and started hanging out with one of the girls from work, I got in the habit of having a coffee when we sat down to chat, or just grabbing a coffee before we went out to do anything. Now I love the stuff.

I could probably function without it, but it's a nice little kick in the ass to get me started, especially when I know I'm going to be up for a long time. And it tastes soooo gooood.

As for the "learning a new OS" thing... most of the documentation for Rails is written for Linux or Mac, and the "ever so slight" changes that are required for running it on Windows can get frustrating as fuck, especially when you are trying to troubleshoot problems. Rather than having to guess my way around and hope that I understand the framework properly when I attempt anything, I figured I'd install Ubuntu and use it as my "working" OS and just do all of my programming and whatnot from here, and leave Windows as my "personal" OS.

That's some good stuff, but one of the items seems so out of place.

I usually do two cubes of sugar and a little bit of cream.

No cream in mine, just two teaspoons, usually.

I think a cube of sugar is equal, or close to, one teaspoon. So similar sugar, you just don't take any cream.
I honestly can't remember the last time I had coffee without cream... it's just one of those things that I do...
Fuck, I want to go to Tim Horton's now... their coffee is way too good... but I don't have a lot of gas, and it's just a tiny bit too far to walk for a coffee... by the time I get back home it will be gone.

Nearest coffee/donut shop is still closed over here, and I'm too lazy to go anywhere else. I'll just wait until morning, or just go to sleep and go in the afternoon.

The Timmy's just down the road has the drive-thru open 24 hours, but the "dining area," for lack of a better phrase, is closed from 11PM until 6 or 7AM.
They make a damn good cup of coffee, though. I might have to go and get me some. It seems like a worthwhile investment of my remaining... < $10.

I'll catch you later. Almost 6 and I've some cleaning to do, early in the morning, or whenever I wake up.

I have one, it's just... not the greatest. I'm still attempting to figure out the correct ratio of grind to water mix. Especially since I'm just one man... I don't need a full pot of coffee, just a couple of cups.

It might just be me, but the Internet seems to run slower using Ubuntu, for some reason.

    Night/morning.
Tea is much easier, put some water on, brew the tea, and you're done.
