Other than that it's mainly a bunch of homebrew, linux open-source ports of PC games engines(ex. Tyrian, Freeciv, Free Heroes, etc.), and emulators.

I would be very hard pressed to purchase something like like this for $500 when my PSP performs the majority of it's functions already minus the keyboard. Although with my PSP-1000 I could technically use a iR keyboard with certain hombrew programs.
Ok... maybe it's not as cool as I originally thought.

Heck Acidmods sells a kit so you can add second analog stick that corresponds to square, cross, circle, and triangle. Really good for first-person shooters and Me and My Katamari.

I Think the price is more due to it not being mass produced or something

That's why I usually play my PSP through a program called remotejoy which routes the PSPs video and controls through your PC. So you can play your PSP with a PC gamepad.

It still doesn't make the price point any more attractive. It just doesn't have any commercial backing to it, therefore only a trickle of the usual homebrew stuff.

I would rather put my money toward another PS3 than buy the Pandora.

Also, all master lists have been updated. Now I can justify playing some games.

Oh I do agree with ya mate don't get me wrong, since its very Linux capable and can use a full Linux environment it could be very useful all round but the price point makes it hard to justify

It would be a very cool piece of tech to have from a homebrew developers stance. I'll just stick to my mainstream handhelds, until I win the lottery that is.

Bulletstorm was a pretty cool game, albeit fairly short. I still need to finish those dang time trials someday.

Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot.

    ...

I've yet to play it, though.

I played a little of Bulletstorm for the first time the other day and was surprised to hear Steven Blum's voice as the main character. Well, not really surprised actually. That dude's voice is in everything nowadays. But that's okay, because it's sexiest voice of all time. OF ALL TIME.
