Not really they will both just run at the slower speed

so if one is 800 and the other is 667 they will run at 667. its safe to do, not the most ideal but safe and fine

It really depends.
I'm assuming the ram in question is the same physical type, but just different speed rating.......in this case it's ok, but all your ram will run at the lower speed rating.

An old example:
You have a m/b that can run 333mhz and 400mhz ram.......you mix ram sticks.......your ram runs at 333mhz.

Yeah, DDR2, I found a cheaper 1GB 667MHZ RAM but the one I currently have it's faster. I think I'll bite and buy the same speed one for a bit more then, thanks.

I know. It's just that it's close from fully downloading HL-EP1 and it's acting up a bit so I'm wary of clicking on it.

Ya its better that way Might as well not waste the potential of 1 stick with another, im guessing theres not much of a price difference between em anyways
