I don't follow football at all. Just hockey, for the most part.
I was pretty excited back in '06 when the Oilers somehow made it to Game 7 of the finals, but unfortunately we didn't win the cup, Carolina did.

We've basically been last in the league every since.

I don't mind watching football games, but since the NFL only has American teams, and I live in Canada, it's really hard to get into the "local team of choice" or anything like that.
And the CFL is just... blargh.

Hockey, on the other hand, there are a few Canadian teams and a lot of Canadian players, so it makes me feel a little bit more connected to the game.

Also, hella more entertaining to watch. I'm watching the overtime period between Montreal v. Boston -- and as I was typing that sentence, Boston scored and just won the game.
