Mind the semantics of the rule quoted there. If you have one image in your signature, it must be smaller than 600x300. That can be read as either smaller in at least one dimension, or smaller in both. In the latter case, your signature is exactly 300 px in height, and thus too large.
Actually, at this point, I'm wondering if a ban on "ostentatious" animated signatures, or even a blanket ban on animated signatures altogether might not be best. Worm's signature, for instance, is a good use of animation in signatures - a small signature, a subtle animation. Unfortunately, it is also very much an exception; generally, animated images in signatures just end up being abused. Yours, as much as I like MLP, is a bit annoying. Sorry. I can't even count how many new members threw at least one copy of that old green blaster smilie into their signature. I regret ever posting that thing here, honestly; it's like an instant red-flag regarding the users that use it. Well, maybe a yellow-flag; I'm sure one or two must have turned out decent in the end, though I can't think of any off the top of my head.
