Duno, i like the DS because i can jump into most of the games and fuck around for a bit, then just dump it.
Alot of the PSP games seem to "not ooze" that idea, not saying they bad games, i just like picking something up fucking around then putting it down.

my one gig stick is filled with SNES/GBA/MegaDrive games.

I just DLed a heap of RPG's from the PSX then, which sorta throws out the whole pick up and play idea, but i know i enjoy them long term.

Yeah, but you got SNES games working now finally, yeah?

You ever play Innocent Life or any of the other Harvest Moon games for PSP? Those were always "pick and play for bit" type games. Plus I always liked the PSP for it's sleep mode feature, just like the DS. If I'm in the middle of a game I'll just flick the power button and put it in sleep mode.

I've had a PSP since launch and I have kind of a love/hate thing going on with it. It's great for emulators and there are some fun PSP games but the problem is pretty early on in its life an awful lot of companies said "fuck it" and just started shoehorning console sized games onto a handheld. They're usually too involving for portable gaming and more often that not the result is just a second rate version of something you'd rather play on a TV. It's never really lended itself well to the pick and play thing that the DS and Game Boy did so well and that's why Nintendo completely wiped the floor with them in the handheld market.

I think the proper term is Nintendo wiped its arse on the PSP.

There's a couple of shops around here that sell Gamecube games but they never seem to have all that many sadly. Anything you're looking for in particular?

Not a lot to be honest, just Resident Evil 4 but I could get it for PS2, but it just feels more natural to play it on the Cube IMO.

    EDIT: Ah and PN03
