Totally different, you work in a grocery store. In a 15 minute break, you can grab a sandwich from the deli. In 10 minutes, I can make it to the student union. Then another 10 minutes of waiting in line, or more likely 20 if I go during the actual lunch rush. Then another 10 to get back to the next class on the opposite side of the campus!

I smoke.

In a fifteen minute break I can run outside, drink about half of a 710mL Coke, quickly inhale two smokes, then run back inside before my break is over.
In my thirty minute lunch, I usually have a coffee and some sort of weird ass wrap thing that they make from the leftover chickens from the day before, and a couple more smokes.
I would never eat the deli sandwiches.

Also, my shift is spent on my feet, not sitting in a classroom. By the end of the day, I'm usually pretty bagged. I can cope with mental exhaustion better than physical exhaustion, personally. I would much rather be in a classroom all day and rush around like that.

That's just me, though.

Also, bedtime. Gotta be at work by 7AM.

Just so you know, I was just screwing around. I know 45 minutes is plenty for lunch. It's slightly disappointing as I usually have a break of about 2 hours in the middle of the day where I can come home and eat, but meh. More than anything, I'm just all excited since I actually registered on the first day I could for a change. Meaning I didn't have to fight over classes.
