Anders grew on me after a while. I played Awakening as well, so it was nice to have a familiar face in the party. My female Hawke romanced him the first time around, but I did Fenris' romance for my second playthrough.

I'm not generally a fan of two-handed weapon styles, but a glowy blue elf hacking enemies into lifeless hunks of meat is kind of hot.![]()
If his brooding were any more impressive, women would swoon as he passed. They'd have broody babies in his honor.
There are many things about DAII that displease me when compared to its predecessor, but it's not a bad game in and of itself.
True, but it's still worth my second playthrough.
...
Or third, if I really have nothing else better to do.
I did about two and a half. First one pro-mage, second pro-templar. Then another run through Act II and part of Act III, because I didn't realize you needed Isabela's approval to be about 50% either way before you could rely on completing her last companion quest, and hers was the only one I needed in order to grab all the crafting supplies for the Supplier trophy.
Now that it's finally 100%-ed though, I'll move on to other games that need to be played. I'm a decent portion of the way into GTA:IV, I started Folklore and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed earlier in an attempt to figure out what to play next, and I still have yet to even put in the disc for Eternal Sonata.
Oh, I guess there's BlazBlue too.
But we don't talk about that.
I need to sleep. Nice to see a handful of you for a few moments.
