    Spoiler warning:

WM17 is one of the few I've never watched I should get round to fixing that because I've been told that is one of the best ones they've done. Apparently this match was quite good as well, but Taker needed trainers to get out of the ring, so it might be signalling his retirement. I think most people are assuming he's going to go at 20-0 or 19-1
I don't mind the PG thing too much, they just really seem to be regressing. Like they've looked at how they were in the 80s and I think they're trying way too hard to go back to that without realising a) what made it good and b) it was over 20 years ago and things have progressed since then. They can do PG and make it interesting, I mean they don't need to have people bleeding all the time to make it worth watching but the storylines have got to be good. I've only started watching it again recently but I'm not desperately impressed by it so far. :/ I'm not sure if it really isn't as good as it was or if it's simply because I'm older. Smackdown seems decent enough but Raw is awful from what I've seen.

17 is probably my favourite Wrestlemania overall, there were a lot of good matches on that one. Taker/HHH, TLC 2, Rock/Austin, Benoit/Angle, the Shane/Vince street fight. That was back when I was really into wrestling. I remember being really excited for that event, haha. Then they bought WCW and did the whole Invasion thing not long afterwards and it hasn't quite been the same since. I've slowly been amassing a collection of Attitude era PPVs since they started rereleasing them on DVD, I think I've got pretty much all of the ones worth having at this point. Gotta say it's been fun watching them all again.

This confirms the fact that the person that lost is going to retire.

Fuck, like 20 pages of HO to backread. Fuck that.
You guys aren't that interesting anyways.

Also, the one hockey game I manage to make it to this year, and the worst team in the league (Oilers ) beat out the best team in the league (Canucks ). On Canuck's home ice. I was there with my Oilers hat () surrounded by 20,000 Canucks fans. Oilers () won 4-1.

Happiest day of the year, right there.

I'm in the same boat with you

Everyone hates the Cincinnati Reds, but they're 3-0, sweeping the Brewers in the opening series. They haven't done that for probably 10 years.

While we were there, we figured out that the Oilers have the same number of total wins the Canucks have away wins alone. Which is... just sad.

It's nice when the "crappier" teams end up doing really well. Oilers were fantastic in 2006 -- made it to Game 7 of the final round of the Stanley Cup Finals. Been pretty much last place every year since.

    Next year is our year.
