I wouldn't call it metal, that's for sure, and the same goes for everything on that list except Dragonforce. Dragonforce is just lame, despite being power metal.

Yeah, I've seen you playing those. Brother tells me they're pretty awesome adventure games. Never got around to trying them, though.

Bullet For My Valentine is not metal. Calling them heavy or thrash metal is an insult to both genres.

Oh wikipedia says so, it must be true.

I don't really care about the genre debate I just wanted to throw that in.

I'm gonna have to check out this game. If only to rage about terrible grammar.

I can't really classify most of those bands as metal, either. I would call Bullet For My Valentine emo, and System of a Down hard-rock. Personally. They don't really embody the essence of what I consider to be metal music in the slightest. It's the same way that I don't consider Blink 182 punk, even though technically the genre of most of their albums is "pop punk." Just because there is an adjective in front of the main noun of "metal" does not mean that they are metal. Not in the slightest.

I would go as far as saying they are "nu-metal," which only makes them as metal as Linkin Park. Which isn't metal at all.
