Yeah, was asking how are you recording, like what software, internal MAME stuff. it's always choppy, yours seems smoother.
NOT the editing, I know enough of AfterFX, Premiere, Vegas myself, as I made a living out of it.
Sorry to be a pain.

Thats fine. Not a problem.
Seems strange that you suffer choppiness, as mame creates the movies by directly reading the framebuffer, so even if the game suffers slowdown while playing, the resulting AVI is perfect. Unless different versions use different methods. I use Mame Plus! XT x64 1.41u3. Fraps Dos'nt do it the same way, as i discovered when trying to record Virtua Cop in Model 2 Emulator. Game slowed down too much during recording, and also recorded all the slowdown. Quite annoying really.
Oh, And Kudos, Id love to make a living out of visual FX. I love doing it.
Hi Everybody! Over 300 views on the Thread now, so, heres a present:
The intro to the new series is now complete, but now i need your help in continuing.
I Need suggestions for games. Hopefully games that have enough history for me to go through, Or, If its an obscure one, or a game i hav'nt played, I'll try a blind run. Editing on this new series will take a long time, as its now in HD, and will have all manor of different doohickeys and such going on, But i will get there, and hopefully, get out one a week when i start.
Also, can you watch 720p fullscreen in Embeds? If not, that is what will be reconmended for the new series.
So, Suggest away my friends.
TrenceJ out.
Suggest away...
Any preference on game genre?
Just throw anything at me, i dont mind at all. If i've never played it, i'll do a blind run.
Anything, hmm?
Then if possible, try:
-Battle Circuit
-Fighting Layer
-Night Slashers
-Shock Troopers
Thanks for the suggestions.
I Recorded All 4 as blind runs as i have never played any of them before. And Chose Shock Troopers and Night Slashers as the two best runs. They will make up episode 2. Fighting layer just ran too slow when recording, and i did'nt do too well at Battle Circuit, although its a cool game.
Everything is ready and waiting for the first two episodes in premiere. Just need to do the commentary, and i need to wait for a time without the kids.
Damn Kids
Also, One credit only now has a Facebook Group as i was bored. Just Search for it if you want.
TrenceJ Out.

looking forward to seeing you play shock troopers since thats a great game. if you want another brawler you could also consider armored warriors.
ITS BACK!
Series 2 Has now started with episode 1 here right now!
Shock troopers and Night Slashers Double Bill.
Best to watch in 720p fullscreen
Let me know what you think guys, So i can change anything i need to before the second episode.
Really good!
In my opinion, the intro is quite good, but since I am a Street Fighter fanatic, you may want to wait for another comment about it.
Seriously though, really good.
If no one gives suggestions, I have some other games up my sleeve.
Cheers King. Im going to wait for more comments before i press on with the next episode, just to make sure im not putting off any other viewers in anyway.
Suggest away mate. all suggestions are going into a custom folder in mame, and i will get around to them eventually. Only have one other at the mo, and thats X-Men.
Anyway, wont be around the rest of the night, Off to the UK 3DS Launch Party tonight. Video games, and DJ Yoda. Oh hell yes!
Oddball suggestion, but have you considered doing Monster Rancher Jump?
Hmm.....
I suggest:
DoDonPachi, it's a vertically scrolling manic shooter, really good game in my opinion.
The Punisher, a beat em up game.
There's also the Dungeons and Dragons beat em up games, but not quite sure if it's the genre of games you'd want to make a LP.
