My laundry was in desperate need of being done. I had no pants left.

So I'm not that concerned at the moment. Eventually one of our full time cutters will fall over dead, and I will get to move up. Or I'll find a better job.
I grew sick and tired of waiting someone to promote me, i earnt enough in my old job to get by, it was just a case of, i would have to save for things, whilst my friends would blow their money....
I got sick and tired of being on a tight budget, and stuck in the endless grind, it was when i worked out, id never get promoted, as there was no where to be promoted to, and the fact that i work my ass off, get stressed, and for what? i was earning 15 bucks an hours basily.

I wanted to study, but not under those conditions, no way known.

Family members of mine are earning 3k a week take home, for doing nothing... So i decided to go back to building shit, the money is insanely good, and for no real work.
That be known, i would do it for reduced pay, i mean my next job is building a tunnel under a major city, how amazing is that? people will be using something i helped build.

I still get a kick out of telling people i helped build a power station that powers melbourne.

Gee, thanks school, now I gotta take another subject which will cause me to add another fucking semester because all of a sudden you decided that some of the subjects I had now have a lesser amount of credits.

I was fucking raging about six hours ago.

I would love to get into something like that, but I have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of where to begin, and I've never been good with my hands. (Make whatever jokes you want. )
I'm leaning towards getting my ticket for steam engineering and attempting to get hired with the company that my dad works for, and my grandfather used to work for. Great pay, relatively easy job, but shiftwork and long hours sometimes. Still, it'd be nice, and I think I could handle it.

Just gotta get more schooling. I'm thinking I'm gonna look into upgrading once I get my journeyman paper's next year for meat cutting. Then I have something to fall back on as well.

    They were probably in debt.

Jobs like that, its not how much you know, but who....
Zoe's uncle is the project manager, and basicly said "Aslong as you dont blow up the place, you'll work here for all 4 years."

Like i went to apply for jobs in the powerstation down here, and got rejected all 3 times.
It wasnt becuase i was "underskilled" it was purely becuase oh "My mate needs a job" or "Yeah Kev is a good bloke, i play footy with him"

I look at it like a highschool, all the "nerdy" kids are working their asses off, going to uni, to make bucket loads of money.
The dumb jocks dont like this, thus they band together and demand for a high paying job to do sweet stuff all. Jocks never had to study...

I worked my ass off in a white collar job, so much so that to this day people still ask if im coming back, shit ive had staff say they couldnt keep up with my workload and what i did.
I would of stayed, if i got paid for the amount of work i was putting in....
I made the company 68,000 in one month, i got jack shit, i basicly paid for my wage for 2 years.

I sympathize with you. I absolutely loathe dealing with my school. I got close to not being able to graduate on time, but luckily avoided it.

The professors at the university in town here are on strike. There's about... five weeks left of school, and it doesn't sound like it's going to be resolved soon.

They should all be shot. I would be beyond raging if I couldn't graduate because of my professors.
