    Question Graphics Card recommendations

Okay, so my computer is pretty old =P and has gone through so many upgrades. Last thing i really need is a newer graphics card =P

I'm looking for a Graphics Card that:
    +Supports AGP 8x (or PCI)
    +512mb+ (1GB preferably)
    +Supports Dual Screen
    +Supports at least Direct X10 or above (I'm sick of 9 -.-)
+With Shader Model 2.0 or above
+With 2 VGA Connectors (or 1 VGA and DVI Connector with a DVI to VGA converter) and an S-Video connector

I don't really mind the price range all that much but as long as it's a reasonable price.

The ATI Radeon X-series is decent, i know mine (x200, which is low-end) supports pixel shader 2.0 and is 512mb+. Not sure about the other stuff.

AGP cards were discontinued years ago weren't they? Surely they were, I doubt you'll be able to find anything above 256MB on AGP.

Really, you'd be best just trying to save your money for a new computer instead of forking out a ton on a decent AGP card...

    X1000 series is fucking ancient.

Can you not get a 4xxx series card in AGP?

    Something like this:

    EDIT: Please don't triple post.

That would be much better. I only recommended the X-series, i didnt say it was top of the line. Gets the job done for me, but this one you have posted may be getting the job done better in about a month or so.

Yeah, you would be much better off just building a new comp, you're going to fork out a ton for an outdated video card, and still be screwed when you want/need to update farther. Also, you have to make sure your power supply can handle the new card.

My power supply is good =] and by my estimate I'm only spending about 300$ - 500$ on upgrading my comp 8D

I wasn't aware any AGP cards required extra power like PCI-E cards.

@OP: For 300-500$ you could just build a whole new PC, it'd be a lot more sensible than upgrading a machine still using AGP.
