That and plus I think it's to childish for me and i'm 14. The best Anime shows are DBZ,Pokemon,and Yu-Gi-Oh. They all kick cartoon ass.

I was only joking except for me watching the shows. That is real!!!!!!!! I saw a couple of episodes but I didn't like them.
I'm a huge Gundam fan. Watch it every day on the Cartoon Network. Out of the list, I'd say Akira but I'm watching an anime called "Here and There, Now and Then" which is easily one of the most gripping animes I've ever seen. I have all the episodes(japanese w/ subs) on cd-rw if anyone wants them. A few of them lack sound which I am currently trying to rememdy. Just pm me if you're interested.

I didn't care for Pok�mon that much. Too childish for me. I'm more mature than most people, though - or have more mature tastes, one of the two. Vampire Hunter D was a good one.
Gundam Wing is good, and the only reason I don't talk about it much, Ultimate, is because I haven't seen a lot of the episodes.
Rockman.EXE is really good (I'm a Megaman freak, what can I say?) and so is Evangelion.
It all depends on what you're into, though.

I think the best anime is inuyasha
IMO the original serise of Record of lodoss war is the best that anime has to offer. the best animation and stories.
knights, dragons, wizards, witches and massive battles of knights vrs evil monster hordes. wish that they would make a game for the PS2, the one for dreamcast was ok, but i want an action adventure or true RPG.
the second series was ok, but it rewrote events that transpired inthe first one.
if you havent seen them, give them a try.

The best anime movie in my opinion? End of Evangelion.... it was so well done... it doesn't even feel like an anime... it's so real.
