Yeah I'd only get a year, no point having content for 3 months then losing it. I'd be worried in case I can't renew it next year and I lose all my stuffs though.

You don't lose anything that you got on a Plus-plan sale, only stuff that was Free for Plus users. Personally I don't think it's too worth it.. The money you can spend on the subscription could just as easily go to all the games you want to play. The only way it could possibly be an advantage to you is if there is a LOT on the store you want, and even then.. I notice only select stuff ever gets a sale. (Usually nothing I care about.)

I want to play both Dead Space games one after the other, but I want to play 2 then 1. That's putting me off a bit, also having to use a guide to make sure I don't miss the peng treasure and any other missable trophies puts me off, too.

Heh, brother got me the 'play 100 ranked matches' achievement on FIFA 11 last night. He's way too good on it, I can play him and sometimes beat him, but I'm a total trainwreck online, and he wins almost all his matches, but since his profile doesn't have Gold, he played on mine.
