Does anyone know if its ever going to be put on the PSN store? (im in the UK)

I used to be able to get it to work on a PS1 emulator but cannot seem to find an emulator and set-up that works. If anyone has set up so it works can you please tell me what emulator, its version, PAL or NTSC, which bios, plugins ect. As I've tried many differrent combinations and none work.

On disc music is a priority, my own music discs are less important

Thanks for any help, it will be much appreciated as I love this game so much.

Same goes for PSX-PSP conversions. The PAL works, but the JAP does not.
I have a few other things to try before I give up on the game though.

Please register to be able to view these links. and that one has an iso, a ccd and a sub..... anyway i dled it last week, and i tried it on psx 1.13, it did not work, i tried it every day since then, changing nothing, and today, just a few minutes ago, it worked, i don't know how or why but it just works

I have the game working in ePSXe 1.7 (only with the standard audio plugin, extra ones don't work for some reason) but it has some sound sync problems with the song starting a few seconds to late which kinda ruins a rhythm game. psx 1.13 works aswel buy also has some sound sync issues but not as bad.

Anyone found a way of getting this to work with your own cds. I tried using magic iso to create audio disc files but when it asks for CD, I mount my disc but it still doesn't work

it works with cds just as long as they are actual cds isos will not work

It works with virtual discs aswel. Use a vib-ribbon iso. to run the game but burn audio discs to the image recorder with nero. Mount these .nrg files with daemon tools. When in game it says enter audio disc, chose eject disc, then CD drive and pick your virtual drive with the audio disc in. It worked for me.

Yea seems to be a bit random, I tried it on my friends laptop, did exactly the same thing and .mp3's wouldn't work (other music files did), but they do on my computer. Try some different music tracks. I can give more detailed instructions if required.

Guide to making Vib-Ribbon work with your own music

Programs used:
Nero Burning Room 10
Daemon Tools 4.35 (Get the latest version from http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/products/dtLite)
pSX 1.13 (Get the latest version from http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/)
Vib-Ribbon Image file (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=79Q5E8O6)

1.First create your audio CD image. This can be done in Nero Burning Rom 10. Chose audio CD, then new.

Add the songs you want (in my case the new Chase and Status album No More Idols (which is amazing)). Make sure that the burner is set to ‘Image Recorder’, then hit burn and wait.


2. Mount this .nrg image in Daemon Tools.


3. Open pSX 1.13, chose File->Insert CD Image, the chose the Vib-Ribbon image file


4. While in the game, go to play with own CD, when it reaches:

Go to, File->Eject CD, then File->Insert CD Drive, and chose the Daemon tools drive with the audio CD in.



When you return to the game, it should be working.

If people are still having problems tell me. If you haven’t got Nero and want a guide for some other program, ask. If you think this guide needs refinement please tell me. Hope it helps.
