Well, to be honest, i only play FPS games in the harder difficulty IF it will unlock something, or to sharpen my sniping skills.I've beaten a fair few on hardest difficulty. I've heard Killzone 3's elite campaign is around about a 3-5 whereas the second Killzone people reckoned it was about a 8-10 for difficulty.
I've done Call of Duty World at War on veteran twice and I can easily say it's the hardest and most annoying game I've ever finished on hardest.
It's actually rare that i go around playing on the harder difficulty for nothing.
