Doesn't that just make the combat a bland brick wall?
I don't know. I loved Baldur's Gate and tried to play Dragon Age, but every time, I just sort of stall in Orzammar and stop playing. I learned later that a lot of people tend to consider Orzammar a dreary trudge and the most difficult part of the game to get through...but that's the Deep Caves. I can't even get that far in the city before stalling out.
It's good, but it's damn hard to micromanage with a gamepad.
Also, there's some serious framerate issues once shit gets serious.
If you've played a PC to console port or played one of these games on a middle of the line PC, you'll be fine.
So yeah, you should have no real issue.![]()
Bitches don't know bout shitty PCs.![]()
Perhaps.
I thought Orzammar was pretty boring too, the city itself and the Deep Roads. I ran through the main story twice (so I could import a character other than my first one into Awakening) and dreaded Orzammar the second time around.
This, too. Silly frame rates.
The only thing I really disliked at times was trying to figure out which six abilities I wanted to map to the buttons square, triangle and circle buttons. I'm assuming these would have been 1-10 on a keyboard, which would have provided more options and probably smoother implementation in battle.
Finally finished rewatching F&G. I still miss this show something fierce.
Say what you want about DA:O's combat being more enjoyable on higher difficulties, the Deep Roads can go fuck themselves. Still liked the game a lot, though. But that's not a secret to people around here.
Also, DA2's demo, SON I AM SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINT BUT HOPEFULLY THE FULL GAME WILL BE KINDA AWESOME. More in the GG section/ General Gaming discussion thread.
Bioware has just released an official patch for Mass Effect 2's PS3 version - and unwittingly revealed some information about the final piece of downloadable content for the game in the process.
Three new trophies included with the new patch all refer to a new piece of DLC titled 'Arrival' - and Bioware had previously confirmed that one more piece of downloadable content was on the way for Mass Effect 2 via their Cerberus News Network service.![]()
Please be like Shadow Broker and not like the Kasumi mission. Please."Three new trophies included with the new patch all refer to a new piece of DLC titled 'Arrival'
Also, I have a suspicion that "Arrival" might have something to do with ME3 and Earth. Maybe.
And Ray, stop stealing my ideas!I was going to do a quick LP of the DA2 demo tomorrow, but now I feel it'd be redundant.
I'm kind of expecting to be somewhat disappoint with the game in general, but hopefully I will find that I was mistaken.
Also, I really don't want to spend 60 bucks on a game when it's going to come out with a bunch of DLC afterward. But I just might. After all, I'll have lots of monies and a spring break to waste shortly after its release.
what happened to the post your rep thread? Rollbacks?
It's three threads below the hangout.
