That is perhaps the cutest story I've heard all day.

Wow, I never realized how much time I used to spend on this board until I filled my time doing other things. Oh well.
Just as a general warning to everyone: I will probably be spending a little bit less time on here. I'll probably still pop in for about an hour or so every night, give or take, but I'm actually, like... happy right now. And crazy about the new girlfriend. Therefore, less free time for Internet usage, and more time actually interacting with people.

    Interacting with people is overrated!

Seriously though, glad to hear it (the happy part, not the less time part )

Drag, out of curiousity, since you don't like survival horror games, why did you want me to do Resident Evil?

Goddamn socialization! Getting in the way of my alone time!

Thanks. I shall try not to be the creepy guy who gushes about how awesome his new girlfriend is, so just rest assured that it's in the back of my mind, ready for the first person to ask what she's like.

I don't like certain survival horror games. Really, my lack of interest stems from how lame the controls can be in some of them. For example, the thirty minutes that I have played Silent Hill thus far have mostly been getting used to the controls, and I'm still not comfortable with them yet. I find them to be quite clunky and annoying. However, I usually love the stories attributed to the games, for some godawful reason. And RE4 was one of my favorite games in recent memory, and I always had fond memories of my brother playing the first couple.

Survival horror games are the kind that I don't mind watching, but don't usually enjoy playing. The same can be said for most Final Fantasy games.

It didn't feel like a cute story when it was happening.

I also jumped earlier when I was lying in bed next to him, using headphones. I ran into a monster, so I darted down some darkened corridors until I was sure I'd lost it. I hit the crouch button and turned around, prepared to hide for the next minute or so. And there's the monster, three inches away from me. Needless to say, I died. It was also the first time I saw one up close.

Then I respawned and the stupid thing was still there, but it didn't seem to notice me. Eventually I moved, and it took one step toward me before disappearing. That was interesting.

Much like we do for Elin, I think we can forgive you for being happy.

At the same time? Not particularly.

Hot chocolate does sound yummy though. Too bad I'm lazy, I've already eaten all my calories for the day, and brushed my teeth.

Really though, has any of the other RE characters had such luck? First day in RPD, everything's already trying to eat his brains. First day watching over the president's family, he has to take on Las Plagas infected....

Perhaps he should (as Ray once said) stop taking jobs

Also, would anybody mind too terribly if I didn't show a Birth by Sleep boss fight? Because I really don't want to go back through everything just to replay that due to RJ messing up, and it DID get the scene after

Well, I need to call it a night. Been a long day of getting Dallas off to daycare, taking him to a speech therapist appointment, and two hours at the park, then recording MM10 blind. 2AM creeps up on you fast when you dedicate 19 hours getting to it.
