90% means you have a photographic memory and have done tons of extra reading.

This is because most courses with the exception of maths ask for nothing but essays for every answer.

My tests are designed to be at least somewhat comparable in format and difficulty to the state board exam that I have to take once I have my degree. I don't actually know what percentage you have to achieve in order to pass that though. I should probably look into that.

It turns out there is no set passing score. There's not even a set number of questions that I'll have to answer. The average for 2009 was between 121 and 125 questions for the NCLEX-RN exam.

And I thought I couldn't feel any less confident about my $200 exam.

That's how AP exams work as well.

In '08 the average score for statistics was like... a 65? and that meant you had a 3 with a 65.

In '09 the average score was a 86.

And because of that, people who practiced on the '08 tests and had 4's/5's did shit on the '09 test.

So, a teacher has been encouraging me to do any kind of journalism I feel like doing, yeah, political one is the most 'important' and 'serious', but that doesn't mean any political journalist is better by default than a cultural, sports or whatever one.

In fact, she told me to get enrolled in a cultural newspaper that she is going to run next semester, I mostly plan to work in sports journalism, but I won't say no to good chances to make a breakthrough. I actually felt good after leaving class, it's good to have some sort of support from an experienced person.

I've taken AP exams before. At least with those, you could get an idea which scores your prospective college would accept as transfer credit, and which they would not.

I'm taking the test to receive a license issued by my state board of nursing. You'd think they'd have some kind of estimated passing score. But I have to take a practice exam at the end of this semester to emulate the real thing, perhaps I'll understand it a bit better afterward.
