Default Will Clicking on the Adds Help Support the Site At All?

If clicking on the occasional add would give the site a few more bucks, I really would not mind doing it. Because, as it stands, I just ignore them like most people.
Just because someone said "Just because someone said it, doesn't mean it's true.", doesn't mean it's true.

Please don't click on any ads if you're not genuinely interested in the product being advertised. If you do see something that interests you or you are curious about -- feel free to click through Our sponsors don't tolerate fraudulent click-throughs and hence we have to be very careful.

just out of curiosity: how can clicking on random banners be fraudulent, and why should it be a problem for ep or the site that the banner comes from?

Probably because they think that MasJ told us to click all of them so that we can generate more revenue for the site. Or that he himself is sitting there clicking away for money.
