The game looks like shit.
So far it only has three characters I even care about.
Ryu, Akuma, and Spider-man. That's not enough to keep me interested.
If other people like it that's all good and fine.

If by keeping stupid opinions to yourself is how you see it, then why did you write "imo" a hundred times in the last four pages?
No one but you thinks the game looks like shit! It does not look like shit! The game has added a theme to the series that so very closely resembles every Marvel cartoon made in the last 5 years (DC too for that matter)!
If you want the game to look like your old comics, then find the older games. The comics that look the way they do sell for a reason; You are no longer the primary audience, children are. Children that have their parents buy them a PS3 are not going to appreciate sepia colored anything!

Picked the game up this morning on the way to class. The Gamestop couldn't have been open for more than like 10 minutes and there were already three guys playing Marvel on the kiosk. I was really surprised at how awesome the game looked in person. I was used to seeing it through Youtube, but on an actual HD monitor from an actual console, it looks great at 60 fps.

My 360's scheduled to return today from a red ring repair, so I've yet to play it myself, but yeah.

anyway...if you want a black and white game why not play madworld? it pretty much looks like one of those comics you posted but it has original characters (no marvel stuff).

Whom ever thought that was a "Visual Feast" is crazy. It looks artificial in my opinion and hand drawn is the way to go for fighting games in my opinion.
