Having recently beaten Alan Wake, holy crap but that game has an amazing soundtrack. David Bowie, Roy Orbison, Poets of the Fall, Nick Cave...

I loved the soundtrack to Earthbound.

Also have fond memories of the Parodius versions of classical songs.

I've been playing a lot of the Ape Escape series lately, and I'm loving the soundtracks.

Gotta go with FF IV, Wild Arms, Valkyrie Profile, and Lunar. Nobuo Uematsu is pretty much awesome.

As for myself i would have to say the Duke Nukem theme, FFIV Battle theme, MGS3 Snake Eater theme, SCII any music while in the field, Silent Hill Shattered Memories had a good soundtrack as i recall, From F-zero, White land, Mute city, Fire field all of them the SSBB soundtrack and the SSBB main theme.

Which might be tougher than I think, because as I remember- that is a tough game to track down. I had only one ebay search result I could buy from, and that was pure luck for the most part. I would consider myself very lucky if I ever found it again.
Hi. sos for the late reply, I had an issue with equinox as well and I found it was actually the emulator not the rom. You can actually play it with ZSNES 1.36 without the freeze happening whenever you pick up items. (Will double check however)

Edit: might be 1.35 but pretty certain it was 1.36
