Ellen and Oreos. That sounds like my kind of summer.

It's alright Inferno, we're all here because we love you. We just want you to sit and listen for awhile, and then you can do whatever you want to do.

I'm so glad you guessed both right.

Since when has Inferno been snorting toast crumbs?

Haha, I knew it. We are cut from the same cloth father.

Since they ran out of bread I think. Poor kid. He's been scraping out the bottom of the toaster for weeks now.

I just find it fascinating that the hallucination associated with DMT is so universal, w/ the whole near-death experience & all.
the chemicals in the brain which are released naturally when you are born & when you die.. sounds like it'd be a scary trip,
but it seems like that'd be just the thing if you're hankerin' for a spiritual awakenin'.
When I want your opinion, I will diffuse it from you through osmosis!

I know, after reading that book I felt so relieved. Like... it just made so much sense. It really convinced me that life exists after death. It's comforting to think of death as a new beginning rather than the end I guess. It is very interesting though, how everyone has very similar experiences on DMT and describe many of the same things. I'm sure it would be a scary trip at first, but I can't even imagine how insightful it would be after you became adjusted to it. The book is called DMT: The Spirit Molecule if you're interested in reading it.

It's an older book, so there's probably different cover art for it, but the paperback I read had a purpleish cover with a picture of a sleeping person on it that was see through (you could see their nervous system and organs and stuff) with a long, silvery wisp rising out of their head up into a large beam like thing with a bunch of trippy fractal patterns on the sides.

It seems they made a documentary out of it too. Totally gonna watch it now.

Ah yeah, I think he references that book in it too. The one I read is actually right below that one on that website.

Very cool, I'll definitely "expand my mind" as it were

unrelated note: that looks like the sort of imagery I would see on a Tool album..

Hehe, cool. If you do decide to try mushrooms, make sure you don't have any doubts or reluctance about doing them though. If you build up too much anticipation or expectation or feel pressured it will most likely lead to a bad trip, which is never fun. My only bad trip on mushrooms happened the one time I didn't really want to take them but got convinced by my friends. It was like being stuck on a roller coaster for 6+ hours that you want to get off of because you're nauseous but you can't, you're literally trapped in your own body. I looked into the mirror and saw my own face melt onto my chest. It's a great time on a normal trip though, very beautiful and enlightening. It really gives you a whole new perspective on life and nature. Interestingly, the active psychotropic ingredient in mushrooms is almost exactly chemically the same as DMT, aside from like two atoms. It's strange how such a small difference in chemical makeup has such a drastic effect.

Yeah, definitely. Tool has "expanded their minds" for sure. Related unrelated note: Tool album art is amazing to look at when you're high and/or hallucinating.

That's not funny my brother overdosed on toast cigarettes.
