On a more serious note it should be interesting to also have Presidential election a few months after out General Election.

A candidate who is the running is David Norris, an openly gay Senator, it will be interesting to see if he gets voted in or not since he is probably the best candidate we have running at the moment.

Although our President who is like the Australian Governor-General in terms of political power (the position itself is really just the Governor-General renamed, the president resides in the same house).
