@Sprung: We're cool now. The distance works for us. Now, I don't have to put up with her whining and bitching about him, and we can call each other when we need something.

so is dead space 2 vastly superior to the first one? because i was disappointed with the generic feel it had to it. controls were "meh", horror was "meh", game was "meh"
If that's the way you felt then don't bother playing this one, controls are the same, I've met a few new enemy's, new guns, graphics seem a bit improved, and the atmosphere is fairly similar except there's a few more living people, many of them trying to kill you, and Isacc actually talks. But yeah like I said if ya felt that way about the first then don't waste your time/money.
Thanks for the honest input!
I beat the first one, but found no incentive to go through again. It almost felt like a chore to get the the end of it the first time around.
It felt to me just like a RE4 in space minus a quick turn button. There were a few startling moments, but not enough variety in enemies/gameplay for me to be immersed in the world (such as in the old RE games or silent hill)
Oshit. I just realized, there's no button on my PS2 controller that can turn it on. I have to actually lean over and push the power button. WTF?
This means I've been playing my 360 far too long.
Also, I found my SOTET saves, so I need to find that fucking game.
Hammer of Might with triple Orichalcum Ceramic Gauntlets. looooooool.
Dead Space was awesome I thought.
Fuck it, I'm going to burn and play Dead Space 2 tomorrow for free! <3 piracy![]()
