I've wanted for quite some time to play an oldish and not so familiar a game. That's how I stumbled upon Tonic Trouble, and I was surprised by the amount of negative reviews about it. Can some of you who tried it tell me if it's worth the try? Rayman 2 is one of my favorite games, so can Tonic Trouble compare to it, even if slightly?

Links and embedded images carry a referent when clicked that identifies the source of the link. That's why, among other things, we can't have hot links in the uploads section, and instead require copy-paste action; otherwise, the uploading sites would be able to filter us out among their traffic sources, identify which files we are linking to, and review them to confirm that they aren't in violation of copyright law. Several sites with anti-hotlink protection also protect their images by blocking links that have external references. This prevents one from embedding the image, or as you just noticed, linking. In your case, you can see the image still because it is cached on your computer from when you viewed it on their website, but for everyone else, we get nothing. But, I'm sure you knew this already.
So, I'm pretty much with Jazz on this. Girl as the lead = second game. Yuna, Lightning, yes. Cloud, Tidus, Squall, no. When are we getting VI-2?

So, ARES, cool little indie sidescroller metal-slug/megaman esque run and gun. I'm enjoying it. Pretty snazzy little game, especially when I found out you can use both analog sticks at once, one to move and one to aim/shoot. Good times, good times.

Even though I'll probably get that as well, I am a bit peeved that they're re-releasing PS2 games on the PS3. Why you ask? Well, I'd ask they release a bloody PS2 emulator update. I'm one of the lucky ones with a 60 GB model, a friend of mine had his drive die on him recently, and it wouldn't surprise me if it happens to me as well (we got ours around the same time). Then I'll have nothing to play all my PS2 games on. Its what makes me turn to the whole homebrew/pirating scene. Sooner or later, I'm hoping someone with uber hacking skills will allow a PS2 emulator to run on the PS3 regardless of model. That'll really ruffle Sony's feathers.

The 60GB backwards compatible lasers are infamous for being brittle as fuck, that's why it's the only model with it.
I've heard/read somewhere that Sony was planning on releasing an external drive to play PS2 games on the PS3, but that seems a bit unnecessary if true.
