    Yeah, the acekard is a good option too, I went with the SC Two cos it wasn't too pricey either and I wanted to check the extra features.

    @Mistral
    I cant imagine that it would; you would think that the DS itself would regulate the voltage to the cart at a constant rate.

Does the onboard CPU in the SuperCard DS2 seem to affect battery life significantly?
    I haven't tested it deeply, but with the brightness set to 3 and medium/low sound the battery can last around 7 hours just playing backups..

    Hmm, that seems like more than I can get out of the DS now. Then again, I haven't changed the battery since purchase despite how often I've used it, so it's probably just getting old.

    Well, looking at the prices, it's not actually that bad of a difference between it and the Acekard 2. Maybe the price of a new game, not including the MicroSD and reader. OK, thanks. I think I'll go for the SuperCard DS2. It'll be easier than carrying my GBA games around with me all the time, too.

    The scene standard for non-HD has phenomenal quality, HD is even better but not worth the size .

    Yeah, but to listen to him complain, it's still not good enough for him. I don't see what his problem is; I've been downloading since RealVideo was considered a good format and files came with the audio stripped to reduce file size.

    Alright, that was half a lie. RealVideo was never considered a good format.

    Real is a decent format, especially if you don't want to spend a lot of time encoding. I know the feeling about the complaints though, I downloaded the Sherlock Holmes movie for my parents and they nagged me about the audio .

    What is really silly is that they have come to me and asked if I could burn movies to DVDs, and even though I use the same quality, they never complain about the DVDs . It has to be re-encoded to be burned though, so I guess the audio might be affected.
