I think I went 1-1, 3-1 for someone to teach me some magic, 1-2, and who knows what order after that.

I just think my char sucks. I know that a lot is dependent on how well I can play the game but still, it'd be easier if I had a better char while I was learning. I already fucked this one up most likely.

That's probably not the case, I found it terribly easy to make up for my character's shortcomings early on in the game. Although she started at SL 1, so it was cheaper to buy skill points and the like.

You can logically get through the game with a level 1 character who is completely naked.

Which reminds me that I got careless last night whilst I was playing DS. Breezed through NG+ 1-1 and 1-2, then moved on to 3-1. By the end of my first playthrough, I was happily accustomed to killing mind flayers with one flame toss, and even if they got their slimy tentacles on me they wouldn't insta-kill me with their brain sucking move.

The game decided to oh so gently remind me that this was no longer the case.

I don't like her. I want to but she's too oriented around setting up shit that I can't get into. I like Hazama's style of fucking shit up all crazy man like. He's also sort of tohno ish in my opinion and that makes me partial to him.
